Founder of Designed by Anne, LLC, Artisan, Motivation and Inspirational Speaker Melissa Paige is a native of Washington, D.C. Paige’s lineage can be traced back to the inter-racial marriage of her great-grandparents. Her father, a boxing contender and served first class in the U.S. Army and Korean War. Her mother, a woman of strong faith, a Communication Specialist and Entrepreneur Florist, also served as Vice President of the largest Yellow Cab Company in Washington, D.C. and hired as a voice over in the 1976 film, Car Wash.
At 6 year's old, Paige lost her hero Dad in a fatal car accident. A step- brother to domestic violence on her 15th birthday and in 1982, her step- father, a construction foreman to leukemia.

In fact, it increased her faith. "Radical faith and trust in God blesses us through the toughest times of what NFL officials would say was “unnecessary roughness”. We have the power to change our life and circumstances. Destiny tuning is essential and empowering”. Therefore, I changed my perceptions about life." Her wisdom, fundamental knowledge in business practices, love for the arts, creativity and entrepreneurship ideas opened many new doors and opportunities. Paige worked with Black Entertainment Television from 1989 - 2000 at the Washington, DC. as a Unit Manager and Production Assistant. “Creative expression and inspiration is unlimited and invaluable.”
Paige's life shifted again in 2003 before and after losing her matriarch and queen mother to Lymphoma. Paige and her son later moved to Richmond, VA. She rediscovered and leveraged her business talents and visions God gave her and that her mother inspired and encouraged; to start and brand her own company, Designed by Anne, LLC. https://www.etsy.com/shop/AnnesDesignBoutique
Despite adversities, she continues to trust and have faith in God even after the experience of losing her entire life savings to identity theft, a homelessness experience and what may have been unemployment to shut her down. “God is merciful.” Paige knows that her destiny is luminous. “God can redirect your life.” She draws inspiration as an Artisan from music, writing and the arts; a talent dormant for some time. Her philosophy is Designing Life. Her distinguished, handcrafted artisan jewelry is featured on Pinterest, Etsy and at cultural events.
